Running on a continued theme of supporting candidates who support our values, Support The Platform (STP) candidates for Republican Central Committee in Sacramento County and Placer County dominated the 2010 Primary election winning nearly 80% of positions in Sacramento County alone.

“Our candidates worked hard to foster solid relationships with neighbors, friends, church organizations, and community leaders to spread our conservative message of limited government and personal accountability,” said STP Chairman, Jeffrey Allen. “They are committed to preserving Liberty and the values and principles that guided our Founding Fathers when they drafted our country’s founding documents,” he continued.

Although STP did not support the open primary initiative (Prop 14), it recognizes the potentially greater role Central Committees will have in future elections. From candidate recruitment to ensuring that voters have all resources available to them, (e.g., Party Platforms, candidate information, etc) Central Committees will have a greater responsibility to their communities and the constituents they serve.
